T.Y. Hilton is having himself a wonderful little Sunday.

The Indianapolis Colts wide receiver became a father Sunday morning when his wife Shantrell gave birth to the couple’s first child. Hilton missed pregame warmups with a solid excuse, as he was at the hospital spending time with his newborn daughter and wife, but he made it to Lucas Oil Stadium in time for kickoff against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hilton’s agent confirmed as much, adding that his client wanted to do something special for his little girl.

Hilton did just than and then some. The wide receiver caught a 73-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Luck during the third quarter and then dedicated his celebration to his daughter, cradling the ball like a newborn baby.
