‘Frozen’ Star Idina Menzel To Sing National Anthem At Super Bowl XLIX

The NFL announced Friday that Idina Menzel and John Legend will perform at Super Bowl XLIX.

Menzel will sing the national anthem before the big game at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., and Legend will sing “America the Beautiful.”

Menzel, a Tony Award-winning actress, perhaps is best known as the voice of Elsa the Snow Queen in the 2013 animated film “Frozen.” She also has a worldwide hit song in “Let It Go.”

Legend, a Grammy Award-winning recording artist, is known for several songs, including “All of Me,” which was one of 2014’s biggest hits.

Katy Perry will perform the halftime show alongside Lenny Kravitz.
