LeGarrette Blount and Brandon Bolden had a lot of fun at the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl parade Wednesday, but some people weren’t too happy that it was at the expense of Marshawn Lynch.

The Patriots running backs were photographed holding up a shirt that said “B—h Mode,” a play on the Seattle Seahawks’ running back’s “Beast Mode” nickname. The shirts were being sold on the parade route, so it was presumably thrown to them from the crowd.

But the joke didn’t sit well with Seattle fans, and Blount and Bolden took to Twitter to apologize and express their respect for Lynch.

Blount and Bolden likely didn’t realize that holding up a shirt from a fan would cause so much backlash, but it’s good that they responded quickly and respectfully.
