The Los Angeles Clippers might be undergoing a rather significant redesign next season.

Paul Lukas of Uni-Watch, the foremost authority on all uniform-related matters, released several photos over the weekend of what sources tell him are the Clippers’ new duds.

The three most noticeable changes are the revamped logos, the inclusion of black and the unorthodox designs of the two alternate unis (the more standard blue one would be the team’s away set, per Lukas).

So, are they legit? Lukas seems convinced.

“Now, you might be saying, ‘Okay, so somebody proposed this design. But are the Clippers really using it?’ ” he wrote Monday. “Several different sources have confirmed to me that they are.”

Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has discussed a potential rebranding ever since he bought the team last summer, and coach Doc Rivers told reporters Friday he’s aware of the leaks.

“I’ve seen it, but I haven’t really looked at it, to be honest,” Rivers said, via the Los Angeles Times. “I couldn’t even tell you how it looked. I don’t mind change. I think change is good, right?”

No matter how you feel about the new design, we can all rejoice in the fact that sleeves are nowhere to be found.
