The media are who Bryan Price thought they were, but he certainly didn’t let them off the hook.
In case you missed it, the Cincinnati Reds manager went on the tirade of all tirades Monday night following his team’s fourth consecutive loss. The rant was, by all accounts, completely uncalled for.
That said, for those not utterly perturbed by the outburst (and even those who are), it was pretty hilarious. It also brought to mind some of the other great baseball rants of all time.
From Deion Sanders dumping buckets of water on Tim McCarver to Alex Rodriguez making an awkward foreshadowing joke, here are a few of baseball’s greatest rants.
