College basketball’s champion will be crowned Monday night at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis when Duke University and the University of Wisconsin square off in the national championship.
The two powerhouses — both No. 1 seeds in their respective regions — had very different roads to the final, culminating with contrasting Final Four wins. Duke got down in the early moments against Michigan State but stormed back and cruised to a 20-point win over the Spartans. Wisconsin, meanwhile, knocked off previously undefeated Kentucky in a back-and-forth affair.
