This season marks the 40th anniversary of the Boston Red Sox’s 1975 American League pennant-winning season. The team took the Cincinnati Reds to the brink in the World Series, ultimately falling in seven games.

That season featured some of the most iconic players in Red Sox history, including Carl Yastrzemski, Carlton Fisk, and a trio of young outfielders named Fred Lynn, Jim Rice and Dwight Evans.

Join the Boston Red Sox in celebrating the former American League champions tonight when the ceremony kicks of at 6:55 p.m. ET.
