The New York Giants won a big game with the help of an impressive, acrobatic catch Sunday night.

The Giants trailed the San Francisco 49ers by four points late in the fourth quarter at MetLife Stadium, but quarterback Eli Manning drove the team down to the red zone. With just 21 seconds left in regulation, Manning tossed a perfect pass to tight end Larry Donnell, who apparently has been watching some film of David Tyree.

OK, so this wasn’t exactly the infamous “Helmet Catch,” but Donnell’s 12-yard grab was pretty darn impressive.

The score lifted the Giants to a 30-27 win. After starting the season 0-2, the G-Men now have won three consecutive games and, believe it or not, are in sole possession of first place in the NFC East.
