FOXBORO, Mass. — It appears the rib injury Dont’a Hightower suffered in Week 5 isn’t overly serious.

The New England Patriots starting linebacker was limited in practice Wednesday. He hurt his ribs in the first quarter of the Patriots’ 30-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Offensive lineman Ryan Wendell (illness) was removed from this week’s practice report, which could be a good sign for his availability Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
