Rob Gronkowski Thanks Fans In Video Message, Says Injury ‘Nothing Serious’

Rob Gronkowski wanted to let everyone hear how he’s doing straight from the source, so the New England Patriots tight end hopped on Bleacher Report’s “Uninterrupted” to send a message.

Gronkowski was injured late Sunday night during the Patriots’ 30-24 loss to the Denver Broncos. Fans initially feared the worst after seeing Gronkowski writhing in pain on the ground and then carted off the field, but the tight end avoided a completely torn ligament.

“I just want to say ‘thank you’ to my friends and family and all the fans out there for the support the last two days,” Gronkowski said in the video. “I’m thankful that it’s nothing serious.”

Gronk added that he loves playing football, and that you appreciate the game more when it’s taken away from you.

“But I’m just week-to-week,” he added, the same information released in a statement by the Pats on Tuesday. “I’ll be working hard to get back out on the field as soon as possible, and when I’m 100 percent, feeling good, cleared by all the doctors (and) the team, that’s when I’ll be back. And there’s no timetable for that.”
