Denna Laing is back, as skeptics can see for themselves.

Laing on Tuesday night spoke publicly for the first time since she suffered a spinal injury in The Outdoor Women’s Classic on Dec. 31 at Gillette Stadium. The short message Laing delivered from her bed at Massachusetts General Hospital were recorded and shared on Twitter.

Laing’s first words follow a message she posted on Facebook on Monday, in which she poignantly describes that fateful day as “the best” of her life.

Those three short words from the Marbelhead, Mass., native are likely to inspire those who have been following the 24-year-old Boston Pride player’s story.
