NFL Week 17 Injury Report: Tracking Actives/Inactives, Injuries From Every Game
3:33 p.m.: The St. Louis Rams will be without their star running back against the San Francisco 49ers.
3:23 p.m.: The Arizona Cardinals dodged a bullet.
Pass rusher Dwight Freeney was questionable with a knee injury, but he’s officially listed as active. Defensive tackle Frostee Rucker and wide receiver Michael Floyd, who were questionable as well, are active, too.
11:39 a.m.: Wide receiver Martavis Bryant was sick this week, but he’s good to go for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
And here are the official statuses for a few more key guys.
11:37 a.m.: Bilal Powell is now officially out for the Jets.
11:32 a.m.: There’s some good news on the Patriots injury front.
11:25 a.m.: Running back Bilal Powell has broken out for the Jets, but signs still are pointing to him being out for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, which is a must-win game for New York.
11:19 a.m.: Speaking of the Kansas City game, it looks as though one of the Chiefs’ opponents, Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper, is a go for Sunday.
11:14 a.m.: The Kansas City Chiefs need to win Sunday if they’re to have any chance at taking the AFC West — the Denver Broncos have to lose, too — but it looks as though they’ll still be without their best pass rusher.
9:20 a.m.: It’s the final week of the NFL season, and most teams are pretty banged up. So this Sunday’s NESN.com injury update should be chock full of news.
The New England Patriots, who have been plagued by injuries this season, actually got the ball rolling Friday when they ruled out wide receiver Julian Edelman, linebacker Dont’a Hightower, defensive end Chandler Jones and a few others. Safeties Devin McCourty and Patrick Chung and wideout Danny Amendola seem to be a go for Sunday’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins, per Pats Pulpit’s Rich Hill.
In other interesting news, the Indianapolis Colts will start Josh Freeman at quarterback, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday. The Colts need a miracle to knock the Houston Texans out of the top spot in the AFC South and make the playoffs, and this development certainly doesn’t help.
