Luis Suarez didn’t need to remind Arsenal of his immense talent, but he did anyway.

Suarez scored a sensational goal Wednesday against Arsenal, breaking a tie and sealing FC Barcelona’s 3-1 UEFA Champions League victory. The Uruguayan made the score 2-1 in the 65th minute when he volleyed Dani Alves’ cross past goalkeeper David Ospina from around 10 yards out.

Suarez continued his eye-popping hot streak with the stunning strike.

Barcelona advanced to the quarterfinals of European soccer’s elite competition at Arsenal’s expense, thanks in large part to Suarez — a player the Gunners intensely pursued but failed to pry away from Liverpool in 2013.
