Johnny Manziel’s wild offseason continued over the weekend when the free-agent quarterback descended upon the annual Coachella music and arts festival in California.
Manziel was spotted partying with suspended Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon and Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, among others, at the star-studded bash.
This is notable not only because it’s interesting company, to say the least, but also because Manziel is without a job and Gordon is trying to gain reinstatement into the NFL after failing multiple drug tests. A trip to Coachella — together, no less — probably isn’t going to benefit either NFL player.
Still, we shouldn’t be surprised by this development. Manziel and Gordon have been in the news several times for off-the-field reasons since entering the league, and now that the two reportedly are living together, there’s no telling what kind of trouble they’ll stumble into if they stay on their current paths.
Can someone pitch the reality TV show already?
