There has been a lot of buzz about New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman potentially playing quarterback in an emergency game situation. And while it seems crazy, it might not be, given the Patriots’ current depth chart.

Of course, neither Edelman nor Patriots coach Bill Belichick will tip their hand on if it could happen, let alone how well it would go. Fortunately for you, NESN.com’s Doug Kyed gave a more elaborate answer Tuesday at Gillette Stadium while appearing on “NESN Live,” presented by Cross Insurance.
