Oh how quickly the mighty can fall.
The Miami Hurricanes were riding high through the first month of their season after a 4-0 start had them sitting pretty in the weekly polls. But back-to-back losses have suddenly burst that bubble and sent the ‘Canes catapulting back to Earth.
They’ll face a Virginia Tech team in a similar situation — the Hokies fell out of the rankings after a loss to Syracuse — in hopes of finding solid ground to stand on.
