Alabama leads the inaugural College Football Playoff rankings of the 2016 season entering Week 10.

The Crimson Tide, who also sit atop both the AP and Coaches Top 25 polls, are the defending national champions and own an 8-0 record. Their place at No. 1 on these rankings is no surprise.

The top four teams in the final rankings advance to the playoff that decides the sport’s national champion, and rounding out those spots are Clemson at N0. 2, Michigan at No. 3 and one-loss Texas A&M at No. 4. Undefeated Washington sits just outside at No. 5.

Here are the first CFP rankings of the season.

1. Alabama (8-0)
2. Clemson (8-0)
3. Michigan (8-0)
4. Texas A&M (7-1)
5. Washington (8-0)
6. Ohio State (7-1)
7. Louisville (7-1)
8. Wisconsin (6-2)
9. Auburn (6-2)
