Tom Brady has a legitimate chance to win the NFL MVP, but the New England Patriots quarterback didn’t make the cut when the “NFL Now” verified Twitter account posted a tweet Sunday night comparing the top candidates for the award.

Most of the replies to this tweet mention Brady in some manner.

The three players listed in the tweet all are worthy of MVP consideration, but Brady has been absolutely spectacular since retuning from his four-game deflategate suspension in Week 5.

He’s thrown for 2,470 yards with 19 touchdowns, only one interception and a 68.9 completion percentage in eight games. The Patriots are 7-1 in that span, and they own the AFC’s No. 1 seed entering their “Monday Night Football” matchup with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14.

On Wednesday, OddsShark posted an article that had Brady’s MVP odds as +750, the same as Matthew Stafford.
