FOXBORO, Mass. — Dozens of former New England Patriots players descended on Gillette Stadium on Sunday to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Super Bowl XXXVI.

The team was recognized during halftime of the Patriots’ game against the Los Angeles Rams. Patriots owner Robert Kraft introduced the returning players, and Drew Bledsoe, Lawyer Milloy, Troy Brown and Tedy Bruschi all addressed the crowd from a podium that had been erected at midfield.

Brown’s turn at the mic was particularly eventful. The former wide receiver dubbed the ’01 Patriots, who upset the “Greatest Show on Turf” Rams to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl, “the greatest team on (expletive) Earth.”
