WASHINGTON — New York Mets left-hander Pedro Feliciano
has broken his own club record by making his 87th pitching appearance of the
season.

Feliciano entered New York's game at the Washington
Nationals with one out in the eighth inning Wednesday and the Mets ahead 3-2.

The reliever faced one batter, retiring Adam Dunn on a
popout to shortstop Wilson Valdez, before being replaced.

Feliciano set a team mark with 86 appearances in 2008, a
total he matched by pitching Tuesday against Washington.
