Michael Vick Reality Show to Air on BET Next Year First, there was Hank (and Kendra). Then, there was T.O.

Now, there is Michael Vick.

The recently reinstated Eagles quarterback is the latest NFL star to seal a deal to star in his own reality show, according to the Los Angeles Times. BET will air an eight-part documentary style show — tentatively entitled The Michael Vick Project — early next year.

The show will follow Vick as he rebuilds his image and his career through the Eagles organization.

"I just wanted people to really get to know me as an individual," Vick told the Times. "What I want to do is change the perception of me. I am a human being. I've made some mistakes in the past, and I wish it had never happened. But it's not about how you fall, but about how you pick yourself up."

Rumor has it, some episodes could revolve around a visit to the prison where he served 18 months for dogfighting charges. He could even return to the property where he ran his infamous dogfighting ring.

While it is unknown how much Vick stands to make from the reality show, PETA has already protested the idea of him profiting off his crime.

Prior to being convicted of dogfighting, Vick was one of the biggest rising stars in the NFL. The three-time Pro Bowler looked to be rejuvenating the Atlanta franchise, but his tenure as quarterback ended abruptly when he was carted off to prison. He signed with the Eagles prior to the 2009 season and was reinstated by the league after a brief two-game suspension.
