As it turns out, making opponents leave the ice in a bloody mess has its downfalls. That was evident on Monday, when Milan Lucic was not practicing with the Bruins, NESN.com's James Murphy reports.

Though it's unclear what is ailing the 21-year-old winger, Murphy reports that Lucic was limping out of the building after Saturday night's win.

Update 12:58 p.m.: Head coach Claude Julien said that Lucic's absence was for "non-hockey related personal issues" and that Lucic will return on Tuesday.

Defenseman Matt Hunwick has moved up to forward to fill Lucic's role at practice, while Johnny Boychuk took Hunwick's spot on the blue line.

Hunwick showed his offensive game on Saturday, scoring on a power play in the third period to give the B's their seventh goal of the evening. Last season, Hunwick scored six goals to go with his 21 assists, as he posted a plus-15 rating.
