The Patriots defensive line got a boost on Thursday as injured defensive end Ty Warren returned to the practice field. Warren missed Sunday's game against Indianapolis with an ankle injury and did not participate in Wednesday's practice, but he was on the field with limited participation on Thursday.
Also returning to practice was wide receiver Sam Aiken, who also had limited participation. Aiken had been out with a hip injury.
Warren has recorded 31 tackles this season, including one sack. Aiken has made nine catches for 139 yards and one touchdown while handling special-teams captain duties.
