BC trailed nearly the entire game, and never really looked like it would be able to compete with URI.

Second half, 2:36, URI 72-58: The Eagles aren't going to be able to come back in this one, and will suffer a disappointing home loss to URI.
Second half, 5:25, URI 68-54: Barring a ridiculous run by BC, that will about do it for the Eagles at home.
Second half, 7:02, URI 62-52: For about a minute there it looked like BC might have what it takes to close the gap and maybe even take the lead. But URI battled back despite some shaky defense to extend the lead to double digits once again.
Second half, 10:44, URI 53-44: Some sloppiness by URI led to a mini-run by BC, but URI put an end to that. The clock is turning into the biggest opponent for the Eagles at this point, and they are going to need to buckle down on defense if they want to have a chance to win.
Second half, 13:32, URI 49-39: BC is going to need the type of comeback that Miami put together last week over the next 14 minutes, but right now it doesn't look like that is going to happen.
Second half, 18:50, URI 37-25: URI makes it a 12-point lead, their biggest of the game, with a quick two to get the second half going.
End of first half, URI 33-25: It was all URI for most of the first half, and the Eagles have their work cut out for them in the second half.
Right from the opening tip, URI has controlled the play. Their passing game and perimeter shooting has caught BC out of position on several occasions, leading to the eight-point deficit.
BC will have to completely change their game plan in the second half, or URI could blow the game open in the next few minutes.
First half, 3:21, URI 31-20: There is still a lot of basketball left, but URI is close to putting this thing away. Their quickness and outside shooting have proven to be too much BC through the first 17 minutes, and the Eagles are having a hard time keeping up with the quick pace of the game that URI is dictating.
First half, 5:57, URI 26-18: The points aren't coming easily for BC early on. The Eagles are being forced to work for every single point, while URI just keeps on launching 3s. URI is now 5-for-6 from behind the arc.
First half, 8:00, URI 20-16: The difference in the game so far has been URI's success from behind the arc where they are 3-for-3. BC is 0-for-2 on 3-pointers.
First half, 11:53, URI 13-8: An 8-2 run has URI with a five-point lead coming out of the TV timeout. Some early trouble for the Eagles, as they are clearly having a problem with the fast tempo of URI.
First half, 13:52, URI 9-8: URI is hanging tough with the Eagles, and they now have a 9-8 lead six minutes in.
First half, 17:52, BC 2-0: It took just over two minutes, but the first points of the game are scored. Sanders gets BC on the board with a layup to begin the scoring.
First half, 19:41, Tied 0-0: We are under way, as Rakim Sanders misses a layup on the first possession of the game.
6:30 p.m.: Boston College looks to build on their 6-3 record against Atlantic 10 opponent Rhode Island at the Conte Forum.
