Many basketball fans that have witnessed Ron Artest perform at his wild level could be sure that he was on something. Well, they're right — he was.
The 30-year-old Lakers starter recently told the Sporting News that he would drink Hennessy at halftime during basketball games.
"I used to drink Hennessy … at halftime," Artest said in the interview, which hits newsstands this week. "I [kept it] in my locker. I'd just walk to the liquor store [near the stadium] and get it."
In the interview, he speaks about the 2004 brawl in Detroit and also admits to his partying teenage years where he "was a single pimp! I was wild. A lot of marijuana and alcohol — even before [that age]. ? I [still] party and I have fun, but not like I used to. I used to drink every night and party every night."
