Miroslav Satan will suit up for the Bruins for the first time on Tuesday night in Ottawa when the B’s face the Senators, The Boston Globe reports.

The recently signed forward told the Globe he can play either wing, but would feel more comfortable playing right wing.

Satan reportedly signed a prorated deal with the Bruins worth $700,000, or approximately a $350,000 charge against the $56.8 million salary cap this season.

Satan was selected by Edmonton with the 111th overall pick in the 1993 NHL draft before he was traded to Buffalo, where he became a key fixture of the offense. The veteran, who has also spent time with New York and Pittsburgh, was waived by the Penguins on March 4, 2009, and after clearing waivers, he was sent to Pittsburgh’s AHL affiliate. He was not re-signed by the Pens at the end of the season.
