Phil Jackson Sets Lakers' All-Time Record in Coaching Wins It’s been a historic week for the Lakers, and it’s only Thursday.

After Kobe Bryant became the Lakers’ all-time leading scorer on Monday, coach Phil Jackson continued the team’s historic stretch by becoming the franchise’s all-time wins leader on Wednesday.

Jackson clinched win No. 534 in his coaching career in the Lakers’ victory over the Bobcats to pass Pat Riley as the winningest coach in team history. Jackson praised his players and assistant coaches for his success.

“It’s been a really good run,” Jackson told the Los Angeles Daily News.
