The Celtics didn't let an ugly loss to the Cavaliers prevent them from being positive role models. One night after getting embarrassed by LeBron James and Co., Ray Allen, Nate Robinson and Marcus Landry celebrated the achievements of students at the Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Dorchester, Mass., on Friday.

The visit was part of the team's Stay in School Program, and the Celtics delivered a special message to students, one that included the use of the acronym PRIDE — P for positive mental attitude, R for respect, I for intelligent choices, D for dreams, and E for effort and education.

The Celtics' Stay in School program helps students understand the value of staying in school and taking pride in their work.

"Making the right decision is one of the most important tasks that students have to face," Allen said. "I think it is very important for students to be focused in order to succeed in life."

Celtics players have visited New England schools throughout the academic year to motivate students to work hard and to stay in school. The team will honor top students for outstanding academic performance and perfect attendance at the end of the year.
