The Red Sox were swept by who over the weekend?

Fresh off a three-game sweep by the last-place Orioles, Red Sox Nation finds itself questioning the depth, talent and determination of its fourth-place team.

In fact, the Sox are closer to sole possession of last place (4 1/2 games, than they are to second place (six games). But fear not, Sox fans, because this club has two things many other struggling organizations do not: money and prospects — and lots of both.

If the Red Sox want to catch the Yankees, Rays and Blue Jays, many feel that the club needs to make some moves to shake things up –especially on offense. With a plethora of top-notch talent in Boston’s farm system, many teams would be willing to swap experienced talent for up-and-coming blue chips. Monday’s NESN.com Question of the Day powered by KGB comes from Bruce in Manchester, NH. If you were GM of the Red Sox, would you trade youth to win now? Text ‘SOX1’ for YES, Text ‘sox2’ for NO to 542542. Results will be revealed later in the show and you can view the latest results and vote at NESN.com/kgb.

By Monday morning, the fans had spoken, with 67 percent saying they would not trade youth to win now, and the other 33 percent supporting a trade.
