The Cleveland Indians organization is having a bad year.

While the major league team fell to 26-45 after being swept by the Phillies on Thursday, the minor league system is making negative headlines off the field.

Indians minor leaguers Beau Mills, Jared Head and Josh Tomlin have been arrested and charged with felonious assault for their alleged involvement in a June 3 bar fight in downtown Akron, home of the Indians’ Double-A team.

Mills and Head, who still pitch for Akron, turned themselves in once the arrest warrant was issued. Tomlin, who now pitches for Triple-A Columbus, is on the road and is giving his official statement to the authorities by phone.

"We're aware of it," Indians director of player development Ross Atkins told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "We will have no further comment and our players will have no further comment. We'll let the legal process run its course."

Mills, the Indians’ first pick in the 2007 draft, is the son of Houston Astros manager Brad Mills.
