The Red Sox clearly need help in their bullpen. They may even be willing to undergo a complete overhaul at the trade deadline to make that happen.

According to ESPN, major league sources have stated that the Red Sox have expressed "some willingness" to move Manny Delcarmen or Ramon Ramirez.

Blue Jays reliever Scott Downs has been on the Sox radar, but Toronto is asking for too much minor league talent in return.

Nationals lefty Sean Burnett, also in the midst of a strong season, has also been mentioned as a possibility.

Delcarmen has posted a 5.00 ERA in 2010, well above his 3.91 career average. Ramirez's current 4.69 mark is far worse than his 2.84 ERA of 2009.

Peter Gammons has reported that one MLB GM has speculated that Boston may swap Ramirez to the New York Mets for Jeff Franceour.
