J.D. Drew is back in the lineup for the Red Sox as they get set to take on the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday night at Fenway Park.

The 34-year-old Drew had missed four straight games after injuring his right ankle Sunday in Oakland. He has timed his return rather well — Drew is a .444 (8-for-18) hitter with one home run in his career against Blue Jays lefty Ricky Romero.

David Ortiz, the only other left-handed bat in the lineup, is 8-for-20 (.400) with five doubles and a home run off Romero.

The rest of the Red Sox starters are a combined 22-for-53 (.415) against Romero, who enters with a 7.88 ERA lifetime vs. Boston.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia will be making his sixth start at catcher for the Sox. Darnell McDonald makes his third start this month at center field and is batting second.

With Josh Beckett on the mound, Boston's lineup looks like this:

Marco Scutaro, 2B
Darnell McDonald, CF
Victor Martinez, 1B
Adrian Beltre, 3B
David Ortiz, DH
Jed Lowrie, SS
J.D. Drew, RF
Bill Hall, LF
Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
