White Sox outfielder/designated hitter Manny Ramirez left the team's game on Tuesday night after being hit by a pitch on two separate occasions.

Ramirez was hit by Detroit Tigers flamethrower Justin Verlander in the sixth inning and then had to leave the game in the eighth after being hit by Detroit reliever Robbie Weinhardt.

The slugger left with an apparent wrist injury, but his manager, Ozzie Guillen, isn't too concerned.

"I think Manny is going to be OK, but we'll have to see tomorrow,"
Guillen said, The Associated Press reports. "The ball hit mostly meat, so he should be fine."
