Napoleon Dynamite is back — only this time, it's a cartoon.

Fox is giving a series order for six episodes to an animated project based on the 2004 film, with the original cast, including Jon Heder as the title character, returning  as voice talent.

The network has also ordered seven episodes of another show, Allen Gregory, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Superbad star Jonah Hill and Yes Man writers Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul are behind the series.

Fox' animated series have been notorious for featuring cameos of famous celebreties, including athletes.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been a cartoon guest star on Family Guy on numerous occasions. On Sunday, Red Sox special advisor and legendary baseball author Bill James made a silly cameo on The Simpsons.

If 20th Century Fox TV, which will produce both new shows, continues the trend, there's no telling what athletes will be making hilarious appearances.
