The Answer may have finally found a place to revive his career.

According to a report by Yahoo! Sports, Allen Iverson has been offered a $2 million deal with Turkish professional team, Besiktas. Iverson's manager Gary Moore spoke with Yahoo on Monday, saying Besiktas sent Iverson the contract with the hopes he would sign by week's end.

"We are in very serious negotiations with [Besiktas]," Moore told Yahoo! "Istanbul is beautiful from everything we’ve learned. It's not that far from the U.S., and the competition is good which makes it all attractive."

The news from Turkey comes just one month after Iverson was in a contract negotiation with the Shanxi Brave Dragons. According to Moore, Iverson has turned down more lucrative offers from China to pursue the playing opportunity in Istanbul.

One roadblock delaying Iverson's signing of the contract is his insistence on a limit for what the team can fine him. According to the report, Iverson does not want to be fined beyond 1 percent of his base salary, which is $1.5 million.

Besiktas is currently one of the top three teams in the Turkish Basketball League, but hasn't won a championship since 1975.
