The Patriots didn’t appear to suffer any major injuries during Thursday's victory against the Lions, but they've got some situations to monitor going forward.

Here is a Friday edition of the Monday health checkup.

Safety Brandon Meriweather missed a handful of snaps late in the second quarter after taking a tough hit. It looked like he just got shaken up or the wind knocked out of him.

Right guard Stephen Neal did not travel with the team to Detroit due to a shoulder injury that has kept him out of three consecutive games. This could be an issue for a little while.

Defensive lineman Myron Pryor did not travel with the team to Detroit due to a back injury that has kept him out of three consecutive games. Pryor did return to practice Tuesday after missing two weeks, so his condition is improving.

Cornerback Jonathan Wilhite did not travel with the team to Detroit due to a hip injury that has kept him out of two straight games. It doesn’t appear to be overly serious, so it might be a week-to-week thing for him.

Defensive lineman Mike Wright did not travel with the team to Detroit due to a neck injury and concussion he suffered against the Colts. It was the first game Wright missed this season.

Tackle Mark LeVoir did not play due to an elbow injury that he suffered this week in practice. There is no timetable for his return, but he's been the last tackle on the depth chart this season.

Quarterback Tom Brady played after being listed as questionable with a foot injury, and for the third straight game, he didn’t appear to be bothered by it on the field.

Running back Fred Taylor was active Thursday for the first time after missing seven consecutive games with a toe injury on his left foot, but he didn’t play. Taylor has been practicing for three weeks, so he appears to be as close to full strength as he'll get after the injury.

Safety Jarrad Page was active Thursday for the first time after missing five consecutive games with a left calf injury, but he didn’t play. Page has participated in each of the last two practices, and he is getting close to full strength.
