Anheuser-Busch, the makers of Budweiser, has filed a lawsuit against the MLB in a dispute over their sponsorship.

The brewer claims the MLB made an agreement for a multi-year extension of its exclusive sponsorship rights back in April and stated the MLB tried to back out of the deal just weeks later.

Anheuser-Busch explained in the lawsuit that the MLB demanded an "exponentially higher" fee due to a "change in marketplace dynamics."

MLB officials said in a statement that they had "different views" of the facts concerning the agreement. They would not comment on any of the specifics of the agreement.

Anheuser-Busch are now relying on a federal judge to make the April agreement binding and to block the MLB from negotiating with any other brewer.
