The 2010 Patriots have generated more excitement than expected during their 9-2 run this season, and CBS has decided to "flex" their kickoff time against the Bears on Dec. 12 to reach a wider audience.

The Bears announced the official time change on Monday, as the upcoming matchup was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. The game will now be played at 4:15 p.m. at Soldier Field, as reported by ESPN.com.

This is the first Patriots game to be "flexed" this season. The NFL and its corresponding television networks have the option to flex games during Weeks 11-17 of the regular season.
