Jon Gruden's return to the sideline could be on the way.

According to ProFootballTalk, the University of Miami has the former Bucs coach on their list of potential head coaches.

The Hurricanes parted ways with Randy Shannon late Saturday night after another disappointing season, this year a 7-5 campaign.

A Sun Sentinel report claims that Gruden reached out to the university shortly after Shannon was let go. Gruden currently works for ESPN as an analyst for Monday Night Football. He coached 11 seasons in the NFL with the Bucs and Raiders and won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay in 2003.
