English star Wayne Rooney is back with his Manchester United mates and he's ready to make some repairs.

After going on break in Dubai with his wife Coleen in an attempt to save the couple's marriage and after rehabilitating in the Unted States following a severe ankle injury, Rooney is ready to fix his image and it all starts against the Rangers in Man U's Champions League match on Wednesday.

"Absolutely, he can [make a fresh start]," Alex Ferguson told RET Sport. "There’s no question about that. His fitness is good, and maybe it will take two or three games [for him to be on top of his form].

"But, this is a high profile match on a terrific pitch in a great stadium with a terrific atmosphere. All the signs are plus ones — particularly for a player of Wayne's ability."
