In the end, it seems like the BCS got it right — at least in terms of the National Championship.

It won't come as shock to anyone, but on Jan. 10, 2011, Auburn will square off with Oregon in the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game in Glendale, Ariz.

UConn will also make its first BCS bowl appearance when they take on Oklahoma in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1, 2011, also in Glendale. Boston College, meanwhile, will make an appearance in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl on Jan. 9, 2011 at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

Boise State, who was in the running for another BCS appearance until a Nov. 26 loss at Nevada, will instead have to play in the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 22 against Utah.
