Vote: Who Is the Best Quarterback in NFL History? It's hard for some — especially those outside of New England — to toss Tom Brady's name into the "best-ever" argument, but no matter where they're from, fans everywhere can agree that the Patriots' play-caller is at least among the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

Brady's stats and titles speak for themselves, but he certainly isn't the first — and won't be the last — to put up a string of successful years and impressive numbers.

But where does Brady rank among the game's all-time best quarterbacks? If he's not the best in NFL history, then who is?

Plenty of legends have come and gone in this ever-changing league, making it difficult to compare today's stars to the stars of yore. Today's best — Brady, Peyton Manning and Brett Favre — are mirror images of yesterday's studs, including Troy Aikman, John Elway, Joe Montana and Dan Marino.

And don't forget the NFL's original all-star quarterbacks, which include four-time MVP Johnny Unitas, whose record of 47 straight games with a touchdown pass still stands today.
