The Brees' family needs to make room for another piece of hardware on their mantle.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been named the 2011 recipient of the Bart Starr Award, the Times-Picayune reports. Brees will receive the award at the 24th annual NFL-sanctioned Super Bowl breakfast on Feb. 5.

"The award honors players who demonstrate good character in the home as well as leadership on their teams and in their communities," the Associated Press wrote. "NFL players vote on the award when they vote on the Pro Bowl rosters."

In addition to leading the 2010 Super Bowl Champion Saints to another playoff season, Brees still donated hours of time and millions of dollars to local charities in the area. Charitable organizations such as schools, athletic fields and facilities for cancer patients were the recipients of Brees' award-winning efforts.

This past year Brees also won the Super Bowl XLVI MVP award, Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year and the Associated Press' Male Athlete of the Year.

Packers receiver Donald Driver, Redskins linebacker London Fletcher and Cowboys tight end Jason Witten were runner-ups in the race for this award. Past recipients include Kurt Warner, LaDainian Tomlinson and Reggie White.
