They may be separated by 200 miles, but this border rivalry has plenty of weight behind it, and is the marquee matchup for the weekend in Hockey East.

The Wildcats will host the Black Bears on Friday evening in the "White Out at the Whitt" in Durham, N.H. Coverage will start at 7 p.m. from the Whittemore Center, and the puck drops at 7:30 p.m. Tom Caron and Craig Janney have the call for both games in New Hampshire, as the No. 6 ranked Wildcats look to sweep the Black Bears in the season series.

The teams last met on Dec. 10 at Alfond Arena, where UNH posted a 4-3 come-from behind win in overtime led by freshman Jeff Silengo.

Maine will try to knock UNH out of first this weekend, as the Wildcats sit deadlocked with Boston College atop Hockey East with 28 points apiece. The No. 15-ranked Black Bears currently sit in fifth place in the conference with 20 points.

Keep up with all the action on NESN, as Hockey East Faceoff Live kicks off at 7 p.m.
