Chris Paul is a tough basketball player, so to see him motionless on the court is a pretty scary sight. That's exactly what happened to the All-Star point guard on Sunday night.

Paul fell to the ground after slamming his head on the shoulder of Cleveland's Ramon Sessions. The New Orleans point guard fell to the floor where he lay motionless. He was loaded onto a stretcher and wheeled off.

The Hornets announced on Sunday night that Paul had indeed suffered a concussion, and that he's been ruled out for New Orleans' game on Monday in Chicago.

Fox Sports Ohio's Sam Amico tweeted after the game that Hornets head coach Monty Williams had what sounds like a pretty encouraging conversation with his star.

"[Williams] said Paul was in good spirits, laughing and joking," Amico tweeted on Sunday.
