Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Aston Villa seem to be headed for multiple clashes in the transfer market come summer, Villa winger Ashley Young is a target of both other clubs.
Now, though, the three will fight on another battleground as well, as Bayern has emerged as a player in the Gervinho sweepstakes.
According to TalkSPORT, the German giants have sent scouts to watch the 23-year-old Lille and Ivory Coast striker.
Villa reportedly bid £10 million in January, but that offer was rejected, and Liverpool has also said to be interested in a summer transfer.
Gervinho, who has scored 11 goals this season in Ligue 1, is under contract through 2012, but he has previously stated that he is uncertain as to what will happen at season's end, and Lille is believed to have a £15 million price-tag for his transfer.
He has, however, hinted that he is interested in a move to The Emirates in the past, and Arsenal has also been linked to his services.
