Though most peoples' eyes are set firmly on Opening Day, Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein is not done yet.

Epstein has traded reliever Daniel Turpen to the Rockies in exchange for catcher Mike McKenry, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post. The Boston Globe's Peter Abraham also reported the trade.

McKenry appeared in six major league games last year, going 0-for-8. In Triple-A Colorado Springs, he batted .265 with 10 homers and 49 RBIs in 99 games. In his five-year minor league career, he's batting .265 with 66 homers and 287 RBIs.

Turpen threw 69 innings in Double-A last year, posting a 4.30 ERA and a 7-6 record.
