Michael Vick has had enough.

The NFL star, who was released from prison in 2009 after serving time for dog fighting charges, is speaking out against an Android app called "Dog Wars" — a game in which users "raise [their] dog to beat the best," according to AndroidCentral.com.

Vick, who is teaming up with the Humane Society of the United States, released the following statement on Monday:

"I've come to learn the hard way that dog fighting is a dead-end street. Now, I am on the right side of this issue, and I think it's important to send the smart message to kids and not glorify this form of animal cruelty, even in an Android app."

The game, originally released on March 8, 2011, allows players to buy shock collars to help train their virtual dogs.

"We want to inoculate kids against dog fighting," Vick added. "It’s horrible."
