Mike Cameron gets another start in right field with a lefty on the mound when the Red Sox wrap up a three-game series with the Chicago Cubs on Sunday night.
Cameron will be starting for the fourth time in eight games in what has become a veritable platoon with J.D. Drew. However, Cameron is hitting just .152 (7-for-46) this year and only .143 (4-for-28) against left-handers.
Drew, meanwhile, is a .259 (7-for-27) hitter vs. southpaws.
Cameron and his mates will be facing fill-in starter James Russell, who threw three innings of scoreless relief in the series opener Friday night. Lefty bats are hitting just .167 against Russell, while right-handers are at .373.
Kevin Youkilis, hitting in his usual cleanup spot, carries a nine-game hitting streak into the contest. He is batting .389 (14-for-36) with three home runs and 11 RBIs during the run.
