Nathan Horton's Overtime Heroics, Tim Thomas' Stellar Saves Among Top 10 Moments in Bruins' Run to Eastern Conference Final The Bruins are only halfway to their ultimate goal, but they have already created plenty of memorable moments in the first two rounds of this year’s playoffs. That’s what happens when a team makes its longest postseason run in nearly two decades.

The Bruins haven’t been to a conference final since 1992, back when the league was still divided into the Wales and Campbell Conferences. Now the NHL has the more generic geographical designations for the conferences, but it’s still a thrill to make it this far no matter the title of the series, especially when the Bruins vanquished archrival Montreal and avenged last year’s devastating collapse against Philadelphia to reach the Eastern Conference finals.

“Being one of the soon-to-be last four teams left, it’s a pretty special accomplishment,” Bruins forward Gregory Campbell said after Friday’s Game 4 win over Philadelphia. “There’s 26 teams that will be at home and we’re one of the four that will still be playing. It’s an exciting time, but there’s a lot of work ahead.”

Before the Bruins get back to work next week against Tampa Bay, there’s time to take a look back at the top 10 moments in the Bruins’ run to the Eastern Conference final.
